How do I update my dataset without having to redo all my charts in my story in SAC?

Whenever I import a new dataset, if I try to revise charts in my SAC story, I am forced to recreate them all over again due to the new data source. 

Is it possible to simply update the data source without needing to reinvent the wheel when it comes to the data visualizations I already architected? What if my data source has additional columns added to it?

I suggest you to wait until after this weekend... there is a new SAC release coming that will improve the way you re-upload/ / re-wrangle data in a more flexible analytic model, (combining the capabilities of dataset & models). https://community.sap.com/t5/technology-blogs-by-sap/what-s-new-in-sap-analytics-cloud-q1-2024/ba-p/...
