Import Data into HANA Cloud

Hi all,

i am in search of the fastest way to import data into HANA Cloud.

I have two tables where i need to import > 20 miollion rows > 4 GB each.

What is the cleanest and fastest way to import this data? Currently i have it available in csv format.

I already wrote a script importing the data in about ~1 hour. The database explorer import was timing out on me.

I am looking for a more elegant solution, at best i am able to automate this process.

In order to send something more specific, can you inform which kind of data you want to import into S/4Hana Cloud?

However, we have this blog Import data from files to SAP HANA Cloud where our colleague give an introduction to how to import data from flat files to SAP HANA Cloud.

You will check that there are several methods (04 choices) you can use, depending on your requirements and the data size.
