Is there any Auth. Object that restricts Categories while creating an Incident?

We have implemented ITSM and are planning to roll-out the same to entire Organization. However, not everyone needs to see the entire list of categories in the Category schema. Is there a way by which we shall hide unwanted categories while creating Incident from the "CREATE INCIDENT" Fiori application?

Try reviewing auth object CRM_CATEGO

You can test / try it out using transaction STAUTHTRACE to see the activities it uses.

Hi Tammy Powlas,

Thanks for reminding of STAUTHTRACE!

But unfortunately the category selection did not log any trace. It seems there is no specific authorisation object that would restrict the visibility of the categorizations while using the Create Incident Fiori application.

That's odd, this object is in my system. What version/SP of SolMan are you using?

I have the auth. Object crm_catego. But it affects only the modeller where we design the category schema. And doesn't restrict/hide the categories for end users while creating incidents/transactions.
