Latest password encryption algorithm is not applied

Hello Team,

We have received one request from Audit team, that on PR1 system for many users accounts are having older version of encryption algorithm.

We would like to understand if this is possible to update the password encryption algorithm on the system. Kindly share some note or KBA in this connection.

Hello,
after deletion the old hashes cannot be used anymore for logon.
b)simply force the users to change their password. This shall be a regular obligation for every user, for instance every 6 month or so. Also for admins of course, although it might seem to be inconvenient.

afterwards delete the old hashes again.

there is no other way for automatic hash replacement than listed above.
