Live Connection to On Premise ERP on HANA Database

Hi Experts,

Please excuse if this is a very basic question. I am very new to this topic.

Our ERP system is on HANA database. Is it possible to establish a SAP Analytics Cloud live connection to the ABAP CDS views from this ERP system? ( With proper analytical annotations )?

All I could find so far is that it is supported on S4HANA. But not sure about ERP on HANA.

If this is not possible, can we connect to the HANA database of the ERP and cosnume it's calculation views?

Why can't you connect to ABAP CDS for Live Connection ?

Hi Afshin,

My understanding is that ABAP CDS can be accessed by Live Connection only if the system is S4HANA. In my case, we are not on S4HANA. We have ECC /ERP on HANA database.
