Looking for a global setting to make WebI reports remember selected contexts

Hi there,

We have a lot of WebI reports that for one reason or another request the universe context for the query.

Once the context for a query is select it should remain as the logic and purpose of the query has not changed.

I am looking for a way to make the context selection persist even when the query is refreshed, but globally for the entire system.

As part of the query options there is a checkbox for "Reset contexts on refresh" that is checked by default, and unchecking this does exactly what we want, however we have thousands of documents and would like to know if there is a global setting that can be toggled.

It's look like your  universe design is not correct. Ideally you should not have multiple paths in universe  so that users will not get Context selection pop ups in webi report.

If user need to always select the contexts in webi query then what is the use of defining contexts in universe. Revisit your universe design and  see why you have multiple paths and how to avoid.

Unfortunately I am not the one that designed most universes, and reviewing each universe is a larger job for now than simply changing a setting. Thus, if there is a setting it would be useful for the moment.
