PDF file need to display as read only mode (not download/screenshot)

Dear Folks,

Need some clarification to display the PDF in browser as confidential data.

Need to disable download option for the file.

Basically the PDF was uploaded from SAP GUI backend, when click on the Fiori tile, PDF file was configured as to open. Through configuration of tile anything can achieve as read only.

Kindly give me some suggestion to achieve this.

do I understand correctly that you are displaying a PDF on the UI and want to prevent anyone from downloading this?

I'm afraid that this is not possible or at least I don't know any way.
If the PDF is displayed in the browser, the data has been transferred to the client. Here you have no more control over the file.
If you manage to prevent the saving of the PDF in any way, the file was still transferred to the browser for display and with a little skill it can still be saved.
If instead of a PDF you display the data in a UI5 app, that's not a solution either. Here it is also possible that screenshots are taken, or the UI5 app is saved as an HTML file.

In General:
Always consider the browser as insecure. If you work with sensitive data to which clients should not have access, this data must never be transferred to the client.
