Prerequisite to configure SSO in S/4HANA Private Cloud

Dear Team,

We need to do SSO configuration for one of our customer in S/4HANA Private Cloud, so request you to please share us the prerequisites and step by step process flow design architecture.

We found a blog for SSO in SAP official site but which is not given in detail, please share with screens if you have any.

I am also sharing the blog which is available but need more information for SSO configuration with screenshots.

Hello Balasubramanyam,

Can you provide some details of your requirement / use case? For instance, where do you want to open the s4hana system gui with sso from? Directly for the sap login pad or do you want to use SAP build work zone as the Launchpad and launch S4Hana system from there using SSO?

If it’s is directly from the SAP GUI, then you could use the sap secure login client or use the same service in btp. This is purely a basis activity.

If you want to launch it from build work zone, then I believe a pre-requisite is to use sap business client and the secure login client and open the build work zone Launchpad from business client and then launch the sap systems.

Another option is to enable sso through SAML with your corporate idp for example Azure AD and create a small web service in s4 system that opens smen t code and then call this web service from build work zone.
