"Error in generated report (Selection screen is too large) " in SQVI

Hi Experts,

I have created a sap query in SQVI. I created this query for database tables But000 abd FKKVKP. When I am trying to execiute this query. Its throwing an error stating

"Error in generated report (Selection screen is too large) " .

I have created the same query in anotherenvoirment. and its working fine in it.

Could you please anyone explain me why this error is coming in first enviorment? Is it a data issue? if yes then How I can track it.

Hi  Experts,

I found the answer. At the time of creation  if we select the layout mode. It will give us the above mentioned error. So to solve this problem we should use Basis mode istead of Layout mode. But its only a workaround. So can somebody tell me whythis problem is coming in layout mode.
