Replacing WSDL file with XSD file in Message Mapping

Hi ,

In the Message Mapping scenario, It has two WSDL schemas in Source structure. Both the WSDL file mapped to single Target structure. I have to replace one of the WSDL file with XSD file.

Can anyone help me how to replace it without affecting mapped fields.

Hi,

I'm afraid you will need to re-do the mapping if the WSDL file is replaced with an XSD file (based on my experience but I suppose if the XSD matches exactly the WSDL then you may not?).

If this is the case then at least you may need need to re-do everything, you can drag the "new" fields from the XSD into the mapping window of the "old" field mappings and just replace the source field with the new one.

Why do you need to replace with an XSD anyway if the WSDL has the structure you need?
