SAP Business Client + Fiori Launchpad + SAP GUI Transaktion = NO Sidepanel ?

Hello,

we integrated in our test environment the Fiori Launchpad into the SAP Business Client. But if we call a sap GUI transaction from the FLP, the button for the Sidepanel is missing.

Also in the example video there is no sidepanel button, if the transaction is startet from the FLP. Is this a Limitation according to the FLP Integration ?

Hi Martin,

I've just checked the UI roadmap, and not sure if this is quite your scenario, but the side panels for SAP GUI transactions when launched through SAP Business Client is a future direction, so on the radar but not here yet.  You can have a look yourself by going to the link above, and you can see for yourself, page 54.

This note:  https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#notes/2201009/E is the BC patch list of notes and I see in there it looks like the latest patch 5 has an enhancement about side panels for transactions in Fiori Launchpad connection.

Thanks a lot i checked the ui Roadmap yeasterday but i diden't took this point. At Friday comes the new PL6 of SAP BC. So i'll try to wait until friday.

Hi Martin, it's on the roadmap for Q3/2016. And psssst! already there! With PL5. It works fine! No limitations anymore. Regards, Sandra
