I try to run the turtorial Set Up SAP Business Application Studio for CAP Java. Everything worked until running the created app in step 5... the app doesn't start....
I think the root cause is a failure in the created pom.xml.
In the pom.xml element <execution> is marked:
<execution> <id>cds.build</id> <goals> <goal>cds</goal> </goals> <configuration> <commands> <command>build</command> <command>deploy --to sqlite --dry > "${project.basedir}/src/main/resources/schema.sql"</command> </commands> </configuration></execution>I get the following error message:
org.apache.maven.plugin.MojoExecutionException: Process exited with an error: 1 (Exit value: 1)
at com.sap.cds.maven.plugin.build.CdsMojo.executeViaLifecycle(CdsMojo.java:189)

Does anyone have an idea how to solve this?
Thanks, works now ... problem was not the failure in the pom.xml, that doesn't matter it seems ... a popup was blocked and out of that it looks like that the app doesn't start 🙂
