is there any functionality in mdg to compare functional location hierarchy in mdg with a hierarchy in s4 system and give a report of missing functional loc and equipment in s4. E.g we dismantle an equipment and other many equipments in mdg and if we miss to install an equipment on the same functional location can mdg provide a report on dismantled equipments which were not installed back?

Hi Gaurav,

Always we advice keep MDG and Target system in Synch, that means We advice do all sort of dismantling and installation of equipment / functional locations only in MDG and the same would be replicated to transactional systems. Hence we dont have any such comparison reports,

However you can use Model concept of Asset Information work bench to have comparison against Instances of hierarchies.
