SAP Note/KBA 1656099 is being updated

Hi there,

Can someone from SAP help here ? SAP Note 1656099 has been locked for update since days. Can this be unlocked if the update is done?

A suggestion - why do notes have to be locked for update ? Can't the existing note be still left open while the update is performed and rolled out?

No new instances added, but this paragraph of important information that might not only affect AWS customers;

• Hana 2 SPS4 Update:
  • This Hana version has a changed algorithm for detecting the available system timer options (clocksource) which causes a problem on older Linux versions. Customers looking to run Hana V2 SPS4 are advised to run the following minimal Kernel versions:
  • SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP 12 SP3: kernel-default-4.4.180-94.103.1
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.5: kernel-3.10.0-862.41.1.el7.x86_64
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.6: kernel-3.10.0-957.35.1.el7.x86_64
