Dear professionals,
I need to setup a SAP Process Orchestration 7.5 demo System. So I dont need any high performance setup. The traffic would be very low.
What would be the minimum hardware requirement and which database would be the best fit for this demo scenario?
Thank you!
Greetings
Enrico
Hi Enrico,
I would say 2 cores server is sufficient, any DB of your choice that is supported according to PAM
Alternatively, you may go for the trial on CAL, see https://blogs.sap.com/2021/04/15/sap-process-orchestration-solution-on-cloud-appliance-library-updat...

Hi Alexander,
thank you very much. CAL looks good so far. Installation on AWS worked without any problems.
Maybe you can help me with some further questions: Is there any documentation? For example how to establish connection between an on premise SAP System and SAP PO on AWS? If there is any possibilty to use RFC, Idoc or Proxy szenarios between SAP PO and on Premise S4?
Thank you!
Greetings Enrico
Hi Enrico,
actually I'm not sure if you can connect from CAL to systems in your domain, you may have to open ports. Otherwise, you may connect to a backend system on CAL, there is an S/4 on CAL where I have setup AIF demos, see https://blogs.sap.com/2022/12/16/sap-application-interface-framework-in-new-sap-s-4hana-2022-fully-a...
