SSL Error when running SWPM

Hi Gurus,

When we launch SWPM in Google Chrome, we are facing SSL error.
Is there anyway to bypass it?

The error is similar with https://me.sap.com/notes/2504250/E, but I don't understand the solution in the SAP Note.
Please help.

Hello Zulfadzly,

SWPM creates a self-singed certificate. That is why the browsers do not like it and raise the security warining.

I would say that since you know you are accessing SWPM, you could safely ignore the warning and proceed.

You could go through the process of signing the certificate to eliminate the security warning. But once the SWPM procedure is done, this certificate will not be required anymore and the next time you will have to do it again, so maybe it is not worth to do it.

Hmmm, stange... Have you accessed SWPM directly using HTTPS? Or did you access the HTTP port and it was redirected to HTTPS?

You can try accessing it using the HTTPS port directly.

You can also try an anonymous (incognito) window.
