Hi,

We have version BO 4.2 running on windows server 2008

As Windows 2008 server no longer supported looking to upgrade to Windos 106 server.

currently business objects enterprise software installed on C drive.

When operating system upgraded does it just replace C:\Windows or does it wipe everything from C and D drives?

Anyone seen any issues with upgrading operating system on business objects server?

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks for update

It is on vm system and plan to do on test box but wondered if anyone done similar before.

I would hope when server operating system upgraded it only updates files relevant to operating system and leaves other folders, registry entries etc. intact but as never done before was looking to see if anyone done similar/knew in regard to this.

Thanks

Hi Philip.

it very simple in VM, you can take the export of exiting either Dev or Prod VM system to isolation network from the live(a private network), do the upgrade and all the testing and then do the live landscape
