Use Input Field to refresh or get updated results in graph in SAP Analytics Cloud

Dear Experts,

Im wondering if any one could advise me on the below scenario if and how it could be implemented.

1) I currently have a SAC story where I have a Bar chart that shows me bunch of details such as Employee name, Timestamp i.e. date, Number of complaints.

2) I also have an input control to let me adjust how far back I want to look through the data. Either Monthly, Yearly, Daily etc.

What I want to do is have an Input field along the chart to allow myself to enter a value and get updated data in the bar chart without having to change any data in the data set.

E.g.: If I enter 10 then I want to see only Employees who have made 10 or higher number of complaints. Nothing less than 10.

One way would be prehaps to use input field and write a script to achieve this? or any ideas are welcome?.
