Hello there,
we are working on a nicely designed look of our processes and are thinking about interchanging value chain diagrams with navigation maps, since we have more freedom in design. However the attached metadata is different and Signavio will surely see the navigation maps as something different. Will there be any problems for let's say the correct Process Level hierarchy structure or any other future problems when it comes to process level management? Can anyone recommend?
Our basic idea is to get closer to our corporate design to increase user experience and thus we want to add icons and maybe small pictures.
Thanks and best regards
Friedrich
Hi Friedrich,
Instead of interchanging between Navigation Maps and Value Chains, you could use the custom image feature within the Value chain notation to add your corporate look and feel.
The only difference is that you'll need admin rights to upload the graphics via the "define notations/attributes" panel that can be found in the explorer in the setup menu.
However, you will also notice that graphics in value chain diagrams don't "animate" in the Hub when you hover over them, this interaction is unique to Navigation Maps. But a small price to pay for notation and metadata consistency I would say.
Hope that helps!

Hi Abdurahman,
a secound price you have to pay is, that you can't click on it an get redirected to the next level. I think the reason is, changing the shape you miss the small "plus" down below.
Do you see a change to that?
Greatings
Daniel
