Recently I figured out that not all CDS views are available for virtual table creation. Those which have parameters are generated as functions in the database. Thus, when connecting to such a db via SDA from Hana - it's not possible to create a virtual table which accepts parameters. The logical solution seems to create kind of a "virtual" function, which can be created inside the target database and trigger function execution in the source system remotely. However all examples/tutorials/videos I have found- they use virtual function only in context of Hadoop integration.
Do you know is it possible to connect to Hana parametrized table functions from another Hana?
