what is role of Model file?

hello every one

before every thing i'm beginner in UI5 and i have question about model file in project i made a small project front End also with database connected and every thing is perfect worked but i used only View file and Controller and with API connected... I did not Model file used .... my qustion whats is role of Model file in project? And what is its importance?

Describe what are you referring to that makes you believe you need a model file for your project? Otherwise it's difficult to get to the heart of your problem.

I hope your question is about webapp - > model -> models.js

this files is used for device compatibility for different size of screen like mobile , tablet , laptop or desktop.

this file also represent one of design principles "adaptive" you can get more details on below URL's.
