Sac Dimension Comment

Hi Experts, 

i am using dimension comments but I can't retrieve them in other tables, is this the default behaviour? is there a way to copy comment using javascript?

Hi rosanna_chiarazzo,

    As long as the dimension comment formula and context are same between tables, you should see the same comments.

Hi Rosanna,

Dimension comments are stored globally and should be available to any story that has the same dimension view.

Note that there are limitations under what conditions dimension comments can be viewed. For example, dimension comments are only supported on tables with the option of Optimized Presentation enabled.

Have you checked the online-help regarding dimension comments and verified that your new story is valid? If you add a new dimension comment in the new story can you view the new comment but not the old one?
