Not being fully versed yet in how Defects in Cloud ALM work yet, I had a customer ask me "What happens to the Test Execution and Test Step once a Defect has been resolved?" Best I can tell, if a Defect is in any other status than Closed, there will be a small Alert Icon (n) in the Test Step where the Defect was detected. See below. However, once the Defect is Closed, the Alert Icon (n) is no longer present. The link to the Defect also appears to be removed.
While I am able to see Team, Responsible, Planned Completion Date, etc. via the Defects App, without drilling into each Defect, we cannot see which Test Case it was assigned originally. Are there plans to allow reporting of Defect status by Test Case? I have checked both Test Execution Analysis and Defect Reporting via Analytics and have not seen a way to report on Defects by Test Case.
