We are working on an inbound MDG SOA interface to replicate Business Partner(Customer Master) from Salesforce (sender system) to SAP MDG (receiving system) via middleware. This interface is being built to create a CR in MDG to create/update Business Partner - Customer.
We are using SOAP API service for Inbound - BusinessPartnerSUITEBulkReplicateRequest_In.
The business Requirement is to send a response/confirmation message (via web service) to the sender system to inform whether CR creation was successful or failed with errors (including the error messages).
The standard Confirmation message is not triggering for MDG CR creation via BP SOAP inbound request. We tried to use BusinessPartnerSUITEBulkReplicateConfirmation_Out.
From SAP Note 2942297 we understand that the Confirmation message is not sent when creating a CR (staging area), instead, it is only sent when saving BP directly to the active area.
Regarding SAP Note 2847807 - SAP has strictly advised not to use class CL_MDG_BP_BUPA_SI_IN and its method IF_MDG_UPLOAD_PROXY~SETUP_FOR_FILE_UPLOAD. Any invalid usage of this method creates inconsistent Change Requests and thus severe issues for your master data.
What other feasible solution options can you suggest for us to send back the confirmation message when creating MDG CRs?
If someone has implemented any such solution for a similar requirement, we'd appreciate your help a great deal.
