Hi ,

Wanted to check if Setting productive passwords via remote systems is not possible anymore?

As per the sap note 2567311. We sync productive password thru a ISIM solution but since the last upgrade i.e. NetWeaver and kernel upgrade this has stopped working. When i run the bapi BAPI_USER_CHANGE i get the error as shown below:

Please can someone confirm if it is not possible to set productive password ?

Regards,

Sanket

Hi, I guess it depends on which system you are trying to do it from.

This link should point you in the right direction:

Hi,

But the sap note 2567311 talks about setting the authentication type as S or P or R. In our case the calling system is not a sap system so we have to set it as P.. Any way to do this ..

You must have a secure connection through SNC to set productive passwords through SAP IdM.

Just checking- - it’s a connection via snc, right?

I haven’t seen this issue - just wanted to rule out the basics first 🙂
