143330 / 2019 Subcontracting SA not recognized by CIF between S4 and PPDS

• Trying to set up PPDS subcontracting in SAP S4HANA Fully Activated Appliance 1809. Plan was to use schedule agreements. But don't we need to CIF the subcontracting SA into PPDS? Doesn't seem to be able to recognize the subcontracting SA.

It should be supported, as per SAP note 2666947 - Restrictions and Implementation Recommendations for Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling for SAP S/4HANA 1809

Subcontracting

•The following sub-contracting scenarios are supported

•Subcontracting Without Source Location in PP/DS

•Subcontracting with Source Location in PP/DS

•Subcontracting with Scheduling Agreements in PP/DS

•Subcontracting with Third-Party Provision of Components in PP/DS

Source of supply for subcontracting is modelled with a subcontracting PDS. A subcontracting external procurement relationship is linked to this subcontracting PDS.

Hi,

For both 1709 and 1809 releases, the activation of subcontracting source of supply is not integrated to PP/DS through integration models.

Now, they are created in PP/DS at the time the Subcontracting PDS is generated via transaction CURTOADV_CREATE.

I may recommend you to check the document 'Subcontracting1709' from SAP Note 2670539 - 'Subcontracting Documentation : Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling for SAP S/4HANA'.
