systemVars in SAP BUILD apps

Hello Experts,

We have built an web application in SAP BUILD apps and have deployed it on BTP CF. And we are using this app link in the SAP C4C mashup URL with parameters. When i try to use the systemVars in the buildapps and try to test it locally with the preview option, it shows the user details e.g. displayName, email, firstName, lastName. But when try to locate the same fields on deployed application, it doesn't show these fields there. Any one has experienced this earlier?

I think this is a known issue. Could you use app variables to achieve this same ?
