Hi Christopher,

Is that possible to connect to my (SAP Server External IP Address) directly via my eclipse in my local system?

I noticed that in there is no external access point in the SAP instance.

Is this not allowed?

Hi,

Got it resolved. Just need to follow the instruction on Page 12 within "Getting_Started_Guide_ABAP_74_SP8_HANA_SP8_DevEdition.pdf"

Add all the necessary ports to your instance.

Then you should be able to connect to the instance from you local system.
