Value Help on Input Field for User ID from CDS annotations

Hi experts,

We have a UI smartform built from CDS with annotations. The CDS has an input field for User ID with value help using another CDS. The user wants to type in Full Name and fill User ID in the field. We tried multiple ways using text.element annotation and text.arrangement. However, it's not working as expected.

Could you please advise if there is a way to achieve this.

Hi Sushma,

Your requirement seems similar to the blog: filtering-and-show-description-in-smartfilter-through-annotations/

Try using ValueListParameterInOut & ValueListParameterDisplayOnly from Fiori UI for showing / searching through full name and filtering by User Id.
