I'm happy to share that SAP has been certified by the Top Employer Institute as a 2019 Global Top Employer for being an exceptional employer in 24 countries and 4 regions. This is the second year in a row SAP obtained the prestigious recognition, adding to the growing number of employer-of-choice awards SAP has won around the world.

SAP has been awarded the “2019 Global Top Employer” certification in: Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Czech Republic, Egypt, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States. Furthermore, the company has also been certified as a regional Top Employer in Europe, The Middle East, North America, and Asia Pacific.

Each spring, we begin coordinating this massive project with Talent Acquisition, HR, and senior management around the world, and they work through the summer filling out the survey. I'm proud to have been part of this endeavor, meeting and working with so many great colleagues around the world.

The annual, international research undertaken by the Top Employers Institute recognizes leading employers around the world that provide excellent employee conditions, nurture and develop talent throughout all levels of the organization, and strive to continuously optimize employment practices. SAP is one of the select 14 organizations to achieve the Global Top Employers 2019 Certification.

“We are honored to be certified as Top Employer 2019 across so many countries and regions. This proves that our efforts to deliver positive experiences to our employees are going in the right direction. We want to offer all employees globally an inclusive workplace, where they can bring what they are each single day.” – Stefan Ries, Member of the Executive Board, SAP SE and Chief Human Resources Officer.

Thanks to the cross-border collaboration, constant dedication to improve processes, annual feedback sessions and benchmark reports, as well as satisfaction from employees, more SAP locations saw the value of participating and began to undergo the certification themselves.

“It’s a proud moment for SAP to be recognized with a Global Top Employer Certification for the second year in a row. It takes a lot of dedication from our teams around the world to go through the rigorous certification process, but our success in every participating country proves the excellent employee experience we offer at SAP.” – Barbara Althoff-Simon, Global Head of Talent Acquisition
