PDI Access for the Valid_From_date & Valid_To_Date fields in Opportunity History ds.

Dear experts,

Good day!

Goal : need to access the values in Valid From date & Valid to date fields for each sales phase in an Opportunity

Datasource : Opportunity History.

Recently we came across a requirement where we need to access the Valid From date & Valid to dates of Opportunity Sales phases, using which we need to calculate the Length of each sales phases of an Opportunity.

We checked the Opportunity object from PDI, but we were not able to view these fields in the backend so we ended up raising an SAP incident and they responded that these fields cannot be released for partner development.

Could you please provide your insights on how we can access these (Valid from date & Valid to Date) fields or any other alternative approach in this case.

Hi Sooriyaprakash,

You can check webservices / ODATA services for opportunity. If the fields are present in these services, you can make a call to the respective service in SDK using ABSL and read the data.
