SAP Commerce smartedit CX-PREVIEW API redirects

Hello All,

We have started upgrading the project from 1905 to 2205 and the storefront functionality seems working fine, but, the smart-edit gives 404 and the network tab shows the API call (https://demo.com:9002/buy/cx-preview?cmsTicketId=64791830053998084a08b06f-1fb2-4e4a-8902-749a0e8b60f6) is redirected to (https://demo.com:9002/buy?cmsTicketId=6479183005413104745e45e1-651b-44b9-becc-d2a84d8fc06f).

Guide me to trace the root cause of the issue(API, servlet filter etc..)

Hey there!

This is a known error for when the WCMS Preview URL is not correctly configured or matching the Storefront URL. Luckily we have a Knowledge Article with further information and how to resolve this unwanted behavior:
