That’s a wrap on our October 2023 Australia tour as I had the opportunity to moderate three Enterprise Architect SAP Community Meetings in Sydney on October 24th, Melbourne on October 26th and Brisbane on October 31st.
Appreciate everyone that came out and looking forward to seeing more engagement with Enterprise Architects in the SAP Ecosystem in Australia in 2024.
Special thanks to all of our speakers for sharing their insights and to LeanIX for their participation on all three Australia city stops.
I have included in this post presentations that were delivered in all three cities as well as some bonus features that were mentioned during the sessions.
Loved the engagement of attendees as well as the desire to reconnect for future Enterprise Architect SAP Community Meetings in Australia in 2024.

An Enterprise Architect’s Guide to SAP Business Technology Platform
The shift to the cloud and pace of technological change is forcing us all to rethink how we approach software development and delivery. Couple that with the technical debt “sins of the past” and we need to find a better way to embrace change, operate at pace, yet still protect the integrity and stability of our core systems. With SAP’s clean-core strategy, SAP BTP’s side-by-side development architecture, and our Future Ready Engagement model, we can help you understand how to make your business Future Ready with SAP BTP.
Here are a few key takeaways from SAP’s Jason Bell
“The move to BTP should not be an afterthought – embrace BTP now so you drive your Future Ready Enterprise with BTP rather than becoming a “reactive” enterprise.”
“Our “Future Ready” engagement model has BTP maturity at its core so you can understand your current and future state BTP maturity, and most importantly build a roadmap to reach that target state.”
Speakers:
Sydney: Murali Shanmugham, SAP
Melbourne: Jason Bell, SAP
Brisbane: Ian Cook, SAP
