we have a requirement from a team lead of say 10 members to report spent ours on projects where projects span in the 20s at a given time. Not all team members work on all projects. The team members want easy punch in / out functionality, if possible within a mobile app
Naturally the team lead was looking into (mobile apps for) time tracking like Toggl and the like. Naturally the IT was looking into SAP CATS and Fiori My Timesheet.
Now: Is there any smart way bringing the ease of a punch in / out user interface and the sophisticated CATS backend together? I looked at My Timesheet but it seems to lack the punch in / out function (there is My Time Events that supports such, but I'm pretty sure that lives in the HR world only and does not interact on projects from CATS)
How did you solve it, if you solved it and if you went for a mobile app, which was easy to integrate in SAP. If you went with My Timesheets, how did you easen the burden of inputting the spent time?
