Can SAP S/4 Public Cloud manage segregation of duties? Or does this need to be SAP S/4 HANA Cloud for access control, private edition (8013693)? If so, how does this work with Public Cloud?

The short answer is yes.

S/4HANA Cloud usually allows for this by managing the roles and catalogs assigned to various users.

Hi Georgia,

To manage the SoD, you need to have the SoD Rule-Set (tuned for the S/4HPC roles), which is automatically uploaded by SAP into the available with SAP IAG (Identity Access Governance) - User Access Analysis.

With this functionality, you can get an extract of risk at user level, and implement accordingly the mitigation IDs.

Normally our customers used Identity Access Governance for a very comprehensive idenity access goveranance: https://www.sap.com/products/financial-management/cloud-iam.html which is an additional product to work with SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
