CDS view data category annotation issue

Dear experts,

I'm new to CDS view.

I've a doubt in Basic view.

I created one Basic view like this. If i put datacategory as DIMENSION / CUBE, the view is executing successfully. Then what is the difference between Dimension and Cube.
