We have a number of discontinued parts in our system, but the follow on part (and cost) does not show up in the costed estimate (CK11N). The cost estimate shows the discontinued part and cost.
Shouldn't the follow on part be showing up in the cost estimate along with the follow on part cost?
For example:
Part 1234 is discontinued and has a cost of $10
- MM03 > MRP4 > Discontinued Parts
Discontin. ind = 1, Eff.-out = 05/15/2015, Follow-up matl = 5678
Follow on part 5678 has a cost of $12
the cost estimate for a assembly XYZ (containing part 1234) shows the part 1234 at $10 and does NOT show part 5678 at a cost of $12.
How do I get part 5678 (and cost) to show up in the cost estimate?
