MB1B from ZTRV to HALB

Hi All,

is it possible to conduct material to material transfer posting if the original material type is ZTRV and transfer it to HALB material type?

The answer from ankur.chauhan is spot on.

As an additional information:

1. Use MIGO instead of MB1B, which is long obsolete
2. See the note 167330 - Relevant receipts for LIFO/FIFO valuation on 309 postings impact on balance sheet valuation
3. Try not to use 309 but in exceptional situations. 309 should not be part of regular process

Yes it is very much possible, only condition is base unit of measurement must be same for both materials and movement type is 309.
