Business Role Group assignment to Business User

We created a Business Role Group and want to assign this to our users. How can we do this?

Hello,

I ran into the same task to assign multiple business users to multiple roles, maintained related business user and business role groups, then missed the related assignment features and searched for information, like provided in this post, see also comments by Birgit and Tayane.

Whilst a direct assignment is not supported - I assume because of lifecycle issues (how to deal with changes to groups and at the same time stay in full control of authorizations) - the task can be eased by using app "Maintain Business Roles":

• filter by using the business role group defined (you may have to add this filter)
• select all hits
• trigger action "Mass Change" and there "Add Business Users"
• filter by using the business user group defined (you may have to add this filter)
• select all hits and press 'OK'
• "Review" the assignments and then "Submit"

In the end, that served the purpose for me.
