Create a system status in IQ02

We were wondering if it was possible to create an additional system status used in IQ02 for serialized materials? The hope would be that when serialized material is issued out and consumed, system status would change to "INST" for installed or something similar. Right now it just reverts back to AVLB which is misleading. Sample below.

Please do not change system status. Depending on your SAP version you could change them ... but you're only asking for trouble.

Instead of using user status, you could simply install this serialized piece of equipment in a functional location or install it as a sub equipment.

The behavior that you're seeing is standard. When you issue a serialized material out, it becomes "Available" which means that it is ready to be installed ! So ... all you have to do is install it !

If you really need to have a status, use user status instead. I believe you're better off installing the equipment instead of dealing with unnecesary user statuses.
