ECC6 Installation problem: configuring SLD taking long time

Hello,

I am installing ECC6. My system hardware is 8 GB RAM, 2 processors and 1 TB Hard disk.

Now the problem is it took already 25 hours and still running.

There are 47 phases and it got struck in 42 phase. The 42nd phase is configuring system landscape directory

This phase is running from almost 9 hours.

And it is showing creating SLDDSUSER.

Now I want to know is this really take this much time OR any other problem.

This doesn't sound "normal" to me.

Are you on Windows? If yes, open the task manager, sort the process list by CPU and check, if the system is doing something or just sitting there.

I have seen, the CPU performance is fluctuating. I think the system is doing something.
