Feed Net amount in PO line item instead of Net/Gross Price

Hello Community,

We have scenario where we need to feed Net amount instead of Rate of material

1. As main raw material of our client is milk and milk price is calculated base on F A T and SNF percentage present in Milk.

2. This price for total quantity (Net Amount) is calculated by user using various formulas.

3. But in SAP while creating PO we need to enter unit price or rate of material.

4. To overcome this scenario we suggested to enter quantity into field of “Per unit” so that Net Price of and net amount will be same.

5. But when we moving forward with this approach we get stuck when quantity of line item is greater than 99999 as character limit of field “Per unit” is 5 characters only.

Please suggest how the above functionality can be achieved.

Hi Lokesh,

I believe simplest solution will be to create multiple line items, if not can you try to play with the UoM, i.e instead of liters use Kilo liters or tons' etc.

Thanks for your comment, but this solution is not suitable for this requirement, we have already tried it.
