FI DIVISION IMPLEMENTATION

Good Morning.

Currently, the company I work for wants to segment the business by divisions, however when raising the need to the consultancy they indicate that SAP does not recommend the use of these. But we see that the parameterization is still active in the system and validating S / 4 Hana is also contemplated within the organizational structure of FI.

I would like to know if there is any specific note where SAP says that they should not be implemented and what are the reasons. Thanks a lot.

Thank you very much for your answer. But the functional area is an organizational element different from the division as I see it in the SPRO and it does not actually appear in the S / 4 structure. But the Division is there any note like this where it says it is no longer recommended to use.

The GSBER - (Division in Spanish) as far as I am aware is Business Area in English version. Feel free to access in EN language.
