Hotfix installation in Public Cloud

I am learning Public Cloud, and I would like to know how could I install hotfixes.

I am having a look to the Upgrade and Maintenance Calendar, but I don´t know how the hotfixes installation is performance or what do I have to do to prepare the system.

Just to add the information provided above, please pay attention to the downtime mentioned for software patching on slide 3 in the maintenance schedule you have linked so that you do not plan any important activities during this time.
