How to expose data from SAP S/4 HANA Cloud, extended edition to Side-by-Side application?

Hello Community,

A customer has a requirement to send the Material Consumption data (Table MRVED) and Product Substitution (Table KONDD/VB13 Tcode data) data from SAP S/4 HANA Cloud, extended edition to a SAP Cloud Platform (Side-by-side App), but no APIs available:

• Material Consumption data: No API found.
• Product Substitution: We found the Product Substitution API for SAP S/4 HANA Cloud, ES. I followed the steps mentioned in blog How to discover SAP API’s in SAP S/4HANA Cloud, extended editio, to add the service through transaction /IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE, but the backend does not find it:

How can we expose the data?

Hi arturo_montesdeoca,

How about replicating the mentioned tables into a Hana Cloud Service database using the CDS View Replication in S/4HANA Cloud?

In that sense your extension would be able to fetch data directly from the Hana Cloud Service which will contain the replicated data from CDS Views. You could even create your own custom CDS Views using the following instructions:
