How to provide access for project manager to specific sales orders

Hello,

In SAP ByD, I have a project manager that is responsible for a sales unit, and I would like to provide him access to all sales orders and projects that are related to that particular sales unit.

He's currently part of the PMO org unit, and we provided him access to sales orders WC through a business role, which gives him access to all the sales orders and restrictions won't apply since he's not part of any sales unit.

What's the best approach to deal with this?

Hello Charles,

By investigating this system behavior, we confirmed that the access context for the Sales Order view is "Sales", which englobes additional criteria aside from the Org Units selected in the restriction rule.

The access context is maintained on a business object level and cannot be edited or customized. For example, if the access context for a particular object is Employee, you cannot enhance the access context by adding additional criteria such as Sales Organization.
