Manage material serial number app- S4HC Public

Hi,

what is the usage of "manage material serial number" app?

This material -323- is managed in serial number and already has some stock in plant.

Also, some equipments are created based on these serial numbers.

But neither stock nor equipments serial number are shown in this app.

As I found, only serial numbers which created in this application are displayed in this application. Also, after creation of those serial numbers, I cannot use it to receipt the material with this serial numbers!!!!

So, what is usage of this app?

Hi Amin,

In the 'Manage Material Serial Number' Fiori app, 'Equipment data exists' input filter option is active by default and has the default value 'No'. Please enable the input filter 'Equipment Data Exists' by clicking Adapt filter option. And then change the value to 'Yes' to show Equipment relevant serial number.

Is the behavior of serial number is standard?

I mean, when I create a serial number in this application, I only can use it in Goods Receipts, not in equipment master.
