MM Cross Company Profit Center Assignment

Can you tell me what is the correct profit center I should use on MM upon extension request to another sales org?

We currently have the material set as shown in #1. But I can't help thinking it makes more sense to setup like #2 given that the sale is for sales org 2425 then PC 6425195 should be used despite being in Co.Code 2450?

Profit center should be maintained in master data and during transaction posting it picks from mater data only.

For Example: Profit center can be maintained in Material master or in Cost center.

In a material master for a plant you can have only one profit center for all material views! On business needs Profit center can be designed with plant as follow

Option-1: One to one relationship; One Profit center and One plant, Need to have internal table on this requirement

Option-2: One to many relationship; One Profit center and Many plants, No need any development
