MRP area of child part not considered during MRP run.

Dear Team, i am using MRP areas. i am uploading demand in MRP area for final component. I have maintained MRP areas at final component level and child part level. when running MRP at mrp area level, the child part MRP area is not getting touched, instead planning for child part takes place at plant level only. request a solution for this. guru.

I have one question to you,

Is any requirement generated for child items after the MRP Run,Please share the MD04 screenshot for child item.

Requirements are generated for child parts. May not be possible to share screenshot.

I am executing MRP for header component in Md02 in the MRP area.

Planned order gets generated in the storage location of MRP area, then the execution moves to the child part. (I created one simple bill of material with one child part for testing)

Despite presence of the MRP area in the child part, the settings in the MRP1 view at plant level takes priority.
