S/4HANA Cloud, ALV report output variant user specific check box is greyed off

Hello ,

in S/4HANA Public Cloud, how to remove the user specific check box which greyed off from ALV report out to make that variant as global variant, so that all users can use that variant?

Example app : Display Purchase Requisitions

Hello Prasanth,

1. In S/4HANA Public Cloud, when use app "Display Purchase Requisitions", once executed the report, AL report output shown.

2. Choose the necessary columns and wanted to save the output layout as global variant. So that any user who has access for this app can use that output variant.

3. When try to save the layout, User specific check box is automatically checked and it is greyed off also. So cannot make this variant as global variant and system forces to use as User specific variant. In this case other user(s) apart from variant creator cannot use this variant.

4. In this case, other users also need to choose the columns and save their user specific variant, this takes significant time for every users.

5. There is a SAP Note to resolve this issue in ECC, is there any solution in S/4HC public Cloud?

Hello,

Based on SAP KBA 2848146 - Variants can only be saved as User-specific, There is currently no support for Global Variants.
